Trip to Dehradun Courtesy

Last year my family decided to visit Dehradun in my vacations. We planned to go by road. We reached Dehradun by noon. At the time when we reached the place we were very tired and wanted to relax for some time and we were too pleased to visit our hotel where our rooms were already booked and everything was arranged by the Royale Premium Club. In evening we were introduced to our guide for the trip which was again arranged by the club and we had no difficulty roaming around the places of Dehradun because of the guide. We visited Paltan Bazaar and did some shopping.

On the second day of our trip we started the day by visiting the Tapkeshwar Temple. Tapkeshwar Shiv Temple is an ancient place of worship and is situated on the banks of a rivulet, in the Garhi Cantt Area. 5.5 Kms from the city bus stand. It is named Tapkeshwar as water droplets, originating from a rock, fall on the Shivling placed in the shrine. Our visit to the temple was very educative and we were very impressed by the architecture of the temple. After the temple visit we visited Sahasratra Dhara. Sahasratra Dhara, laterally meaning, the ‘thousand fold spring’ is situated at a distance of 11 kms. from Dehradun. The water here has a fall of about 9 metres and it is believed that the water falling is very good for ones skin and is known as sulphur water. I along with my cousins enjoyed in the water and after that visited the amusement park nearby.

I bought some accessories and some household things of wood from the shops nearby for which the place is famous too. By that time it was afternoon and we were very hungry so we went to hotel, had our lunch and relaxed. To our surprise the Royale Premium club organised a special time for the members to enjoy in the hotel’s swimming pool. I was so glad that my father had the membership of the club because of which our trip was an extreme fun. In the evening we went to Laxman Sidh temple. The place is situated 12 Kms. Away from Dehradun towards Hardwar/Rishikesh . on the Haridwar road. The temple is really beautiful but we were not allowed to click photographs there. After that we went to Sai Darbar temple , Situated 8 Kms along the Clock Tower on Rajpur Road, is the Sai Darbar Temple.

This place has a high cultural and spiritual value . We ended our day with a lot of historic, religious knowledge and by applauding the architecture and preservation of the temples. At night we were very excited for the next day as we were to visit Kempty falls. The next day we visited Kempty Falls where a musical show was organised by the Royale Premium club for their members. we are really thankful to the club for making our visit to each place interesting and educative too. In the evening we went to roam around the streets of Dehradun and had famous street food of the city and did shopping to ,thank to the club and our guide. Our whole trip was really great. We clicked a lot of photographs ,enjoyed , did shopping , availed all the special offers and discounts given us by the club. Our trip was planned and executed by the Royale Premium club. i love my dad for being the member of the club who made our dream of a wonderful family vacation come true. Dehradun in my views is a fantastic place. It feels really peaceful there and the place is also very serene with neat and clean surroundings. I personally liked the Doon Valley very much and I thank the club for our great trip.
