Valentine's Day Gifts On A Budget

How many times have you found that perfect Valentine's day gift but lost your 揾eart?when you saw the price? Not everyone has $50 extra for that beautiful bouquet of roses.

Here are some meaningful but inexpensive ideas for a Valentine's Day gift that is sure to win the heart of your sweetie for the rest of the year.

Hand Written Love Letter
Write each other a hand written love letter letting each other know all the reasons why you love each other. Warning! You will need a tissue when reading the one that will be written for you. This is one of those gifts that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Valentine's Day Once A Month For A Year
Think of twelve nice things to do or acts of service gifts you can give to your valentine. Write these twelve ideas on decorated paper or 3X5 cards. Buy a nice basket or pretty box at a craft store or decorate a box you have around the house. Put all twelve cards in the box or basket and each month starting with February 14th of course, have your sweetheart pick one the acts of service cards and do what is on the card. You will both begin to look forward the the 14th of every month and will stretch Valentine's Day out throughout the whole year.

Start Your Day With Love
On the morning of Valentine's Day, wake up before your valentine and make a breakfast with all his/her favorite fixings. If you are making pancakes, make then heart shaped (practice this before the big day) and add a drop or two of red food coloring in the pancake batter.

Candle Light Dinner At Home
This is similar to the morning idea in the fact that you will be cooking. Make your valentine's favorite dinner and serve it to him or her by candlelight. (Even if this means that you wait to eat until the munchkins have gone to bed. It can be difficult to prepare a large meal after a long day but you both have to eat, right?

Valentine's Day gifts do not have to ruin your budget in order for them to be meaningful. These are just a few ways in which you can let that special someone know just how special he/she is to you.
Here's to a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day Flower Delivery

There is no doubt that Eros and Mercury work a nifty and highly successful business partnership these days thanks to the near instantaneous power of the Internet and the highly successful distribution networks such as Interflora inter alia in linking together an international band of brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers ?more commonly known as your local, friendly neighbourhood florists ?in a huge multi-partner effort to ensure that your tokens of love, celebration, concern, shared sorrow or mourning, remembrance and thanksgiving reach those you want to reach out to on time and to specification.

From selection through presentation, to the writing on the card and the tying of the bow, to the creation of beautiful set pieces to the addition of creative gifts ?whether stuffed, cute and furry, dark, chocolate and yummy or sweet smelling and expensive ?every aspect of choice is catered for in a 24 X 7 drive to enhance the emotional life of those you care for with a deep felt sign of your affection.

And amazingly all this can be done from any part of the globe to any other part of the globe and ?one suspects ?from outer space as well (should inhabitants of other Earth like planets also have broadband), all for the same reasonable rates and with the promise, on most occasions, of same day or even same hour delivery to any location you desire.

What other business in the world promises credit card awards in the form of kisses?

So you will understand if, perhaps, coming up to this celebration of celebrations for lovers everywhere, these determined deliverers of love's sweet signs ask for a little indulgence in their long hard rounds. Much as they would love to cater to your every whim and deliver, even up to the very last minute and however late the call; unlike other donators of celebratory munificence, they possess neither FTL bunny feet nor magical reindeer at their disposal.

Therefore, it behooves you to plan ahead a little. Where will your loved one be on Valentine's Day? What is the perfect time to surprise her? And what is the perfect gift to surprise her with? The web is your friend in all this. There is an endless variety of flowers and gifts to select from, each vying to be the ideal accompaniment to your message of true love, heart's desire or risqu?devilment with the promise of more to come.

Perhaps, she has dropped you a hint of what to send. Perhaps you will choose something that matches her hobbies and interests or that will surprise her with your indulgence or romantic aspirations.

But if you want your lover to get the message on that special day, whatever it is you want to say to your lover on Valentine's, don't just say it with flowers, say it today.

Valentines Day Doesn't Have To Be Romantic: Showing Your Love In Fun Ways Too

To you, Valentine抯 Day may be a day to spend with your significant other or to spend out on the town. But, don抰 forget about the kids. You should insure that you think about them on this day and find a way to express your love for them too. While they may have a party at school even giving each other fun Valentine抯 cards, they still need to know that you are thinking about them on this day of love.

For many parents, there is a fine line between spoiling and showing that they care. That said, it is still important to demonstrate your love to them and what better way to do this than through Valentine抯 Day? Here are some suggestions for gifts and things that you can do based on the age of your child.

Preschoolers, Up To Age Four

At this age, even this young, they should be able to see the value in giving a gift rather than just receiving one. Allow them to do something for others. For example, make a batch of cookies for the day (or purchase them) and allow them to decorate the plate providing a piece of paper for them to decorate. Make sure to reward them with a plate of cookies for themselves after they have delivered their gifts. Talk about why it is important to show love like this.

Gifts for this age group that you can give them include:

* Stuffed animals, perhaps personalized with their name.

* Books to read and color, perhaps with a theme of loving in them.

* Take them out to lunch at their favorite restaurant.

* Start a tradition such as a visit to the zoo on this day each year.

Young Children, Ages Five Through Seven

Now, they can do much more. Perhaps have a cookie making party and invite their friends and mom抯 to help out. Have them make the cookies, decorate them and then help to pass them out. Perhaps taking them to a children抯 hospital or a nursing home to help share the love of Valentine抯 Day is a great solution. Provide them to neighbors, friends or even Grandma.

At this age, kids love to make things. This is the perfect project for them! Have them make cards, filled with great art supplies and stickers. Make sure to provide them with a reward for all of their hard work too.

Gifts here include:

* A stuffed animal, here think about their personal favorites.

* How about a movie?

* If you don抰 want to take them to see a movie, instead purchase one that they want.

Older Children: Ages Eight And Up

The same activities of making cards and cookies together will still work here. They will likely take more pride in their work and the results will show it. Also, think about incorporating scrap booking into this activity. Kids can make a memory book of all their favorite adventures and memories to share with special people.

Another great suggestion is to remember to send pictures and cards to the troops overseas. Make sure to allow them to send their own messages and perhaps they抣l get a pen pal out of it too.

Afterwards, spend some time as a family with a pizza.

Valentine's Day and married couples

Valentine's Day - the day of lovers and for lovers. What significance does it have for many married couples? Imagine getting up early, getting ready for work and rushing off as usual. On the way, when you watch the scenes outside, you realize that it is Valentine's Day! But you have many other worries of office and home. The worries and the daily grind of life kills the joy. What used to be awaited by you goes away without any celebration. Why? Where is the spirit gone? Has age made any difference? Has life changed for you? Have the priorities shifted? Is it that you have thousand other worries than thinking of celebrating Valentine's Day?

As we grow, we change. What used to give us joy during the childhood, stops doing when we are young. How many teens make sand castles? And as we grow older, the objects of joy during the youth become equally insignificant. Why?

A thing of joy is forever. Why cannot an old person enjoy making sand castles, run behind a butterfly to catch it, or try and win hearts as he/she used to do in young age? Why do we lose our life and become dead bodies going around doing routine work? Why cannot we bring back the days of childhood and youth and be happy and feel elated at all the times? All this applies to a married couple. After few years, and in some cases, few months, the romance goes away from life.

Some things are life giving. Love is one such magic. It can give new life and joy to anyone. How to recapture this after marriage? Can it be recaptured? It can be to a certain extent. Because one cannot go back to enjoy the thrill of wooing one's sweetheart again, as he/she has already been conquered. Let us find out what can be recaptured and how? How about sitting together and watching the moon? How about walking together in rains? How about sharing ice cream from the same cup? How about buying clothes for each other with the same passion? How about feeling bad when alone and feeling extreme joy when together? How about reciting poetries? Make a list of all that you did when you fell in love. Find out what all you have stopped. Redo them with more vigor and bring your love back in life.

A marriage can be a very happy marriage if the partners love each other every moment, if their heartbeats increase when they look at each other. Sounds silly? But this can also be done. Go back to your love and say Happy Valentine's Day to your spouse with the same passion as you did earlier.

Why should we watch passively and see our love dying? Why should we not make every effort to love with the same romance that we experienced when we met our sweetheart for the first time?

Valentines Day Is For Married Couples Too

Who says that married couples can抰 enjoy Valentine抯 Day? If you would like to make this day a little more special than others have been in the past, you抣l need to think about a few things, make a few plans and make this day a great day.

Keep It Exciting!

Use all of the tools that you have to remind yourself of the day. Set up your palm pilot or your computer to remind you of the day. And, not just on that day but several weeks before. This way, you can easily remember to do something for the day.

* Make dinner reservations.

* Buy a new outfit for the day.

* Plan what you will be serving for dinner.

* Find a way to get the kids out of the house for a few hours.

* Head out on the town for several hours.

* Plan out your meal for the night and test new recipes before then.

One of the biggest problems for the evening is with the kids. Where can they go or do? Find a sitter for them so that you two will have time on your own. Make sure to leave them someplace that they will enjoy themselves so that you don抰 have to worry about them all evening. And, doing this will allow you to spend better quality time with your loved one too.

Gifts should be purchased well in advance. First of all, more and more individuals are turning to the internet to purchase gifts. If this is your plan, do it well in advance of the day, as it may take several weeks to receive a package. If you plan to purchase something, make sure that you know the tastes of the individual and their size. If you visit local department stores, they may even wrap them up for you on this day.

Go For Something Different!

Go ahead and get something more unique this year. For example a singing telegram is sure to surprise her. Surprise her with something like this that you purchase through the local florist.

Making Valentine抯 Day special is important for each of you to really enjoy the day. Do something different, set aside a block of time and make it mean something to each of you. Then, it will be a day to remember even though you are married.

The Story Behind Your Valentine's Chocolates

Valentine's Day is synonymous with romance, of course. But of the millions who celebrate the popular holiday for lovers each year, how many actually know the rich history behind it?

There are several competing theories on the origins of Valentine's Day. Some say its beginnings can be found in the Middle Ages, when many believed that birds mated for life on Feb. 14. To commemorate the spirit of companionship, people would send love letters on that day.

Others say we owe our celebration to the ancient Roman feast of Lupercalia, a pagan fertility festival that was held in mid-February. On this day, women wrote love notes that were placed in an urn and randomly drawn by men, who would then pursue the note-writers and claim them as companions for the next year.

Early Christians preferred to associate the holiday with the saint of romantic causes, Saint Valentine. But there is some controversy regarding Saint Valentine: The Catholic Church recognizes at least three saints named Valentine or Valentinus.

The most popular candidate is a third century priest. Legend says he performed secret marriages against the orders of Emperor Claudius II, who forbade young men from marrying because he believed that single men were more likely to join the army.

As the story goes, Valentine was imprisoned for his misdeeds. He then fell in love with his jailer's daughter and sent her a note signed "From Your Valentine" before he was executed in A.D. 270. A little more than 200 years later, Pope Gelasius officially recognized Feb. 14 in honor of Valentine, the patron saint of lovers.

Some say the tradition of sending Valentine greetings started in 1415 with a Frenchman named Charles, Duke of Orleans. Imprisoned in the Tower of London after the Battle of Agincourt, the duke reportedly passed time by writing romantic verses for his wife. By the 16th century, sending written expressions of affection on Valentine's Day had become very common.

By the beginning of the 20th century, the giving of Valentines was accompanied with gifts of flowers and chocolates. The red rose and heart-shaped box of chocolates became synonymous with Valentine's Day.

Now, more than $1 billion is spent annually on Valentine's Day candy.

The National Confectioners Association estimates that more than 36 million candy hearts will be sold this year alone, the majority of them from Russell Stover, the leading producer of heart-shaped boxes of chocolate in the United States. Russell Stover also caters to the health conscious with assortments that are sugar-free and low in carbohydrates.

Valentine's Day - What Is The logic

Today's lovers and tomorrows foes. How much time does it take to turn love into hatred? If the love was that of love at first sight, then the hatred will also come within that much short time. Why does this happen? How does it happen that those who live for each other, become bitter foes? That is as much a mystery as the love itself. To find out why the lovers turn into foes, we must first find out how they became lovers. That is another mystery. Why should two people fall in love?

Indeed, why should two people, who many a times share very few common things fall in love? Is it looks? The manners? The intelligence? What attracts both to each other that many a times lovers commit suicide if separated. It is said that human race is a logical race. Everything we do is governed by logic. But is there any logic in love? One man may be meeting many girls during work, while socializing, but falls in love with one after few years. The same applies to many women. What is this? How does this happen? Ask a lover about why he/she fell in love with a particular person and you will get answers that will further confuse the enquiry.

Are we logical at all? Or are we totally governed by heart and take some steps that look absolutely illogical and many times idiotic? The truth is apparent. A human being is made of so many emotions that to try and analyze the personality is practically impossible. If it was that simple, no war would have taken place.

Coming to better things in life, why talk of negatives? Why not let positive thoughts make all of us feel better?

As I said earlier, we human beings call ourselves logical, but most of the times act in ways that will sound very illogical. Till we find the solution to this puzzle, let us enjoy life.

Valentines Cards: An Art Project Or Should They Be Store Bought?

Giving Valentines to your classmates used to include endless hours of making them out of construction paper, cute dollies and with painstaking attention to all the details. It was a project that was done at home, for each individual child in the class. And, it was one that great pride was taken in doing. Today, there are much fewer families making Valentines and many more just buying a box of them to give out to their classmates with a simple signature on the back of them.

This has happened mainly because of how commercialized the holiday has become. As manufacturing techniques have gotten better and more cost effective that is the way that American school children have gone. Before this, in the 1960抯, a book of valentines could be purchased. Children could actually cut out the cards from the book, personalize them with lace trim or even with candy and then send them on. But, it wasn抰 long before children were ready to skip the cutting out part altogether.

The Puns

Who hasn抰 smirked at the cute sayings that are placed on the Valentines cards? Such sayings as 揑抦 Sweet On You?have been used for years and years. It came from a time of collecting these types of catchy, cute sayings and riddles. These can still be found today on the Valentines that are purchased out of the box.

The Cards

The cards used to fill a box with a variety of different styles and designs. Common ones were those of fruits and vegetables with these puns on them or they could include a few pictures of cute animals. Today, children抯 Valentines are more often in their favorite cartoon character.

Homemade Valentines

While children may not feel comfortable with providing homemade Valentines to their classmates today, they can and should still make them for their friends outside the classroom, for their adult friends and other loved ones. Not only is it a fun task to do, but it helps with motor skills and creativity as well. All that is needed is a simple piece of paper. The paper can be folded, cut, shaped in any way that they would like it to be. Here抯 one project to try:

* Fold the paper in half, and then fold it in half again in the other direction.

* Trim the outer edge as desired and cut a straight line diagonally across the folded corner. This will make a diamond shape in the middle.

* Fold it diagonally. Cut hearts along the diagonal line. When the paper is unfolded, there is a line of pin pricks, which make it look much like a piece of lace.

* Add this lacey paper to the top of a piece of pink or red paper.

* Add decorations such as a picture of cupid, a coloring of a rose or anything that is enjoyable.

This is a simple, affordable way to make homemade Valentines that parents and other friends will love to hang on to for many years to come. If your child seems to want to use only Valentines that are store bought, this should be okay as well. Allow them to pick those that they find enjoyable and help them to make those for others as well.

Valentines Day Gifts: Gifts That They Will Love

Are you tired of giving and receiving all the same old boring gifts for Valentine抯 Day? If you are like many people, you get the same basic things each year including candy, flowers, some underwear. But, you don抰 have to have such a boring Valentine抯.

Use these tips not only for Valentine抯 Day but for every time that you need to purchase a gift for your loved ones. This year, you抣l be bragging at work about what you got and they didn抰 get!

* Pay attention on shopping trips. This is a good tip for the guys. Watch what she looks at and seems to like. What books, what type of kitchen product would she like, or what type of movie does she enjoy? If she won抰 buy it for herself, it抯 up to you to make sure that she gets it. Ladies should do the same things. What projects does he like to do and what does he need to do them? What sports items would he enjoy? What does he look at in the store?

* Gift Basket Ideas for the ladies. This is a great way to spoil her a little. For the cook in the family, go with gadgets that she loves and needs, things like ergonomically correct vegetable peelers and beautiful napkin rings are great. Fill the basket with an apron and maybe a cookbook too. For the girl that needs pampering, fill a basket with bath and body products. Make sure to know the scent that she enjoys though and then fill the basket with all sorts of things that she would love such as bath salts, lotions, add in a nice luxury robe for her too. For the craft lover, go with a basket filled with all the things at the craft store that she needs. Great scissors, papers, and fabric that she would love. How about a manicure gift basket that is filled with nail polish, filers, clippers and a wide range of cosmetic items. You can often purchase a gift basket filled with all that is needed too.

* Coffee and tea gift baskets. This would work well for both the guys and the girls that love coffee. Fill it with a coffee mug or a tea cup with a wide range of teas that they would like. Line it with a beautiful cloth and then add flavored coffees, gourmets and even some decadent candies to go with it.

* Wine. For the wine lover, create a gift basket with their favorite wines, wine glasses, and some good quality cheeses and crackers. Perhaps add a bouquet of flowers to it as well.

* The Sports Guy. If you have a guy that loves sports, you can create the perfect gift for him. If you have a fisherman, for example, give him the things he needs such as hooks, fishing line, and accessories. Make sure to purchase what the will use and if you don抰 know, ask the salesman for help. For the hunter, things like camouflage gear, binoculars, heavy socks and sunglasses are necessary. Add to them whatever else he may need. For the golfer, give him new golf balls, gloves and maybe even the membership to the local club.

Any of these gifts could be the perfect gift for the loved one in your life. Think about what they would like, what they would enjoy and then find a way to make it personal for them. Purchasing gifts that work well for them will be gifts that they appreciate that much more.

Valentine's Day - Why Rose Is The Preferred Flower?

The world is full of flowers. Visit any place dedicated to flowers and you will be amazed at the types of flowers, and facts about them. Flowers come in all shapes, and colors. Some of them can intoxicate you with their lovely perfume. Some are so delicate that one fears touching them. And all of them are stunningly beautiful. still, it is the Rose which is preferred around the world as a flower of choice on the Valentine's day? I wonder about this. And though I have not tried to search for the reasons, here is my own theory on why it is so. One another fact struck me. We can get Roses in many colors but still it the dark red that is preferred as the flower of love. Why?

Let us first think about the color choice. I think that dark red must be the preferred color as it looks like red. And every true lover is ready to shed his/her blood for the beloved. Also love is associated with the heart, and heart pumps blood. So red signifies love. Colors have their own significance, looking at any white color, the first thought is of purity. Same way red means love.

Now let us examine our central theme. Why Rose? A Rose has thorns. But the thorns are below the Rose. The Rose represents life beautifully. It has very soft petals, that tell us about the soft side of living and thorns to convey that life is not all the bed of Roses without thorns. What does a lover do? A true lover will always take the thorns and give only the soft flowers to his/her darling. That is love and love demands that one give only comfort to one's darling. Love demands sacrifice. Love demands giving of joy. Love demands that all pain be kept away from the beloved. That is also the message a lover sends across to his/her beloved with a Rose. I have kept the thorns with myself and I am sending you these soft flowers . I think this is the reason why on Valentine's day, the red Rose is the flower of choice.

Valentine's Day a Perfect Holiday for Gift Baskets

Many people associate gift baskets with Christmas, Easter, housewarming or job promotions, and rightfully so. Gift baskets are wonderful gifts for these occasions and many others. Gift baskets also make a great gift for Valentine's Day. With so many gift baskets available now for specialty gift giving, it's no wonder people are starting to discover that Valentine's Day is the perfect holiday for gift baskets.

If ever there were a "bigger is better" holiday, it would have to be Valentine's Day. A dozen red roses are nice, but three dozen red roses with baby's breath and an ornate vase is something really special. For this reason alone, Valentine's Day gift baskets take the cake, so to speak. Most Valentine's Day gift baskets are available in several sizes and can be sent with flowers, balloons, teddy bears, or just about any other expression of love. Best of all, Valentine's Day gift baskets aren't just limited to chocolates, although chocolate is one of the most popular products for Valentine's Day.

From luxury perfumes and spa products to gourmet foods and candies, there is no limit to the choices available when choosing a Valentine's Day gift basket. Many gift basket retailers take great care to put together Valentine's day gift baskets that are filled with products designed to make this very special holiday a memorable one.

Take it from me, gourmet food gift baskets with flowers are an exceptional gift to send to your significant other at his or her workplace. Flowers always score points on the "love scale", especially in front of someone's coworkers, but including a chocolate or gourmet food gift basket will be something the entire office can appreciate. There is no better way to turn them from envious to appreciative, and it will bring everybody by your loved one's desk to stop and smell the roses.

Valentine's Day Cards - A Great Way To Say I Love You

There are many ways to show that you love someone. One of those ways is to give the gift of a special Valentine抯 Day card. This is a great way to get your message across in a sweet, loving way without having to find the words on your own. And, because there are so many to choose from, you are likely to find just what you want and what you抣l love too.

Your Spouse Or Significant Other

Your first goal is to honor your significant other with a special card. It is okay to go with something humorous or something touching. What you choose is up to you and your preferences but you can easily find a card that shows how much you love someone, how it is you two against the world or simply ways that you wish to show your love. Choose whichever fits well with your desires. Make sure you leave a special message at the bottom or a simple, 揑 Love You?will mean the world to them.

Your Parents

You will likely not find it hard to find a card that you can give your mother or your father for this day. Here, honor the things that mom and dad have done for you throughout the years or continue to do for you now. A card can praise the things that your father has done too. A card that shows that you love them, respect them, and appreciate them will be cherished by them. If you can抰 say these words to them easily, finding just the right card to express is will be that much more meaningful to them.

Your Siblings

Sure, they drive you made most of the time, but your sisters and brothers should receive a card too. You can really get away with a comical card here. Tease them about something from childhood or a cute joke is just the right touch for these cards. Make sure to provide a sentiment of your love and respect for them, or perhaps how much you value them.

Everyone Else

You抣l find a wide range of other Valentine抯 Day cards available too. You抣l find them for virtually every member of your family and can purchase them for these individuals if you would like to. Make sure that the card says something that is special and meaningful for that relationship. This is a great way for you to feel good about your family and friends in an inexpensive way to remember them on this day.

Friends and other people in your life can really find it sweet that you have thought of them on this day. Providing just the right type of card is crucial here. Make sure to get the relationship down onto the card well and then a simple note is all that is needed.

Providing a Valentine抯 Day card to those that you love and those that have meaning in your life will strengthen your relationship with them. They will appreciate you and your feelings for them. And, they will be thrilled that you thought of them on this day.

Top 5 Valentine's Day Gift Mistakes

Mad rush in the markets especially gift shops, young and old people biting their teeth wondering what would be an ideal gift for their loved ones is a common sight in the month of February. For in the middle of the month comes the great Valentines Day occasion that is perhaps celebrated by all lovebirds across the globe.

Valentines Day is the day of love and affection. It is a day devoted to all those who are delighting in a blissful romantic relationship as well to those who either desire to inaugurate or stand on the verge to commence one such liaison.

However in both the cases the manner to express your feelings holds primary significance. The choice of the gift should be such that it speaks your loving and caring heart. Many times huge and expensive gifts are not able to do that while economical things such as flowers readily solve the purpose. So it is better to be careful, avoid some of the common gift mistakes and make a prudent choice of gift. For example

1. People on the occasion of Valentines Day largely prefer Greeting Cards or E-cards. It is because they feel that writing down their feelings is the best mode to express it. Consequently the prices of Valentines Day cards touch the sky.
Cards definitely make a good Valentines Day gift but not as good as gifting a bouquet of beautiful flowers. For a card once read is of no further use. It then finds its place inside the drawer or in between the pages of a book. Whereas flowers that embellish and fill your room with fragrance are kept in front of your eyes till they dry out. Moreover flowers do not require to be hidden from parents like cards that bear the name and feelings of the concerned person.

2. Gifting pricey mementos or souvenirs on Valentines Day is also not a wise choice. Firstly because of the expense you incur. Secondly the trouble you face and the time that is wasted in wandering from one gift shop to another.
Gifting flowers saves both your precious time and money because flowers can be easily chosen for any occasion (For instance red roses have always been emblems of love) and are not very expensive. Flowers can be conveniently sent to the desired destination through Internet too.

3. Most often guys and gals gift weight -reducing books to their beloveds. This is certainly not a judicious Valentines Day gift. Because it makes the other person feel conscious of his/her looks and of that fact that you desire to see changes in him/her. It presents your love in a 憀ooks?oriented manner.
So rather than hurting or annoying your loved ones on this day, it is better to gift them flowers that can be kept as a token of you love for long. All the changes that you want in your partner (weight loss etc.) can be taught later but on the very day of love and affection.

4. Gifting ugly looking clothes is quite popular Valentines Day gift. Since the gifts for these occasion are mostly taken clandestinely, the clothes so purchased hardly fit the concerned person. It thus turns out be a gift that is good for nothing.

5. Soft toys such as teddy bears; Barbie dolls etc. are also useless gifts for Valentines Day. Because the craze for these costly things lasts only for a few days or even 24 hours! Ultimately these bears and dolls are placed amongst their other companions.

While flowers have their own warmth and affection. The tender buds and petals best display your loving heart that is brimming with love like the nectar in the flowers.
